MEDIA, PA February 21, 2000 - Scientific Software Tools, Inc. (SST) today announced
ExceLINX", an easy-to-use Excel add-in tool for data acquisition under
Windows 95/98 and Window NT. Within minutes of installing ExceLINX, users will be able to acquire
data directly from their Keithley Instruments data acquisition board into an Excel
spreadsheet.
No programming is required to use ExceLINX. Users simply follow 3 tasks - 1). Select the type
of data acquisition task they want (such as AI Pace) from a pop-up menu, and 2). Fill in the
selected data acquisition tasks template form, and 3). Press "Go" on the ExceLINX toolbar. As
soon as ExceLINX receives data it sends it to the Excel spreadsheet. Users can now analyze and
graph their data.
ExceLINX is available as a free download from SST's website.
System requirements for running ExceLINX include an Intel or compatible 486DX or higher, 16 MB
memory, 32MB recommended, Microsoft Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0 or higher, DriverLINX device
driver software, and a supported Keithley Instruments data acquisition hardware board.
