APT, Inc. and Scientific Software Tools, Inc. Enter Co-Marketing Agreement

Secure and compliant Investigative site technology assessment tool improves clinical study start-up for pharmaceutical companies, CROs and e-clinical providers

Media, PA  June 8, 2004 - Scientific Software Tools, Inc. (SST), a leader in the area of technology enabling software and services for clinical trials, and APT, Inc., the developer of WebtrialZ, a professional and compliant hosting service for pharmaceutical information systems, announces that APT, Inc. has selected VISTA, the site technology assessment tool, as an added service for its WebtrialZ clients and that SST will utilize WebtrialZ services for hosting VISTA implementations that require a secure compliant environment.

The two companies have entered into a non-exclusive co-marketing agreement.  Richard McSweeney, Director, Sales and Marketing for APT explains,

“Initially SST approached us as a potential customer for our hosting and deployment services.  Once we saw VISTA, we realized that this was a tool that could add significant value to our clients.  Many of our customers deploy clinical applications across hundreds of physical locations.  Knowing in advance that the computer systems at these locations will be able to support the application is key”.
