FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MEDIA, PA November 3, 2003—Scientific Software Tools, Inc. (SST) recently partnered
with Michael H. Davidson, M.D. of Mobile Lipid Clinic to enhance the Mobile Lipid Clinic software
program. The Mobile Lipid Clinic program is a Palm® and Windows® OS-based tool that assists health
care professionals in the evaluation and treatment of high blood cholesterol and assessment of
Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) risks in their patients. The new version supports both the NCEP ATP
III guidelines as well as the 10/28/03 release of the Canadian Cholesterol Guidelines (CCG). New
features include support for English and metric measurements, lab values in SI units, many
additional graphs, and multilingual operation in English and French.
The Mobile Lipid Clinic program provides health care professionals with a quick and easy way
to calculate their patients cardiovascular risk variables and treatment goals. By entering
patient test results and history and physical data into the Mobile Lipid Clinic Palm or Windows
desktop program health care professionals can provide their patients with a statistical
evaluation of their equivalent CHD age, based on the Framingham Heart Study. The health care
professional and patient can then review the various graphs and treatment, medication and diet
instruction reports that are generated at the time of the visit. The Mobile Lipid Clinic program
also tracks patient visit data over time, allowing health care professionals to measure the
progress of their patients' treatment and medication goals.
The new Mobile Lipid Clinic program was introduced at the Canadian Cardiology Conference in
Toronto Ontario in October 2003 and is available as a free download at http://www.mobilelipidclinic.com.
